A new direction for our partnership with William Mathelin-Moreaux: a boat in the colors of Les Invincibles !

For the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of accompanying skipper William Mathelin-Moreaux on his high-seas adventures as a title partner. Together, we’ve experienced some wonderful moments that reflect our values and the ambition of the Dékuple Group, such as his participation in the Route du Rhum, where he finished in 16th place, or his participation as an Olympic Torchbearer in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. More than a top-level skipper, William is a committed athlete who has always supported strong causes, such as his support for the Perce Neige Association since 2021. Our skipper has proved to be a real catalyst of energy and cohesion, mobilizing our employees and proving that combining talents, ambitions and shared values makes it possible to rise to the most ambitious challenges. We are therefore delighted to continue to support William in a new way, carrying our values and ambitions high.

An evolving partnership with a cause close to our hearts

As we announced a few weeks ago, this year marks a new chapter in our partnership. The Class40 Dékuple is changing its name to Les Invincibles, in support of the association Les Invincibles – All United, founded by Olivier Goy to combat Charcot disease. A meaningful transformation that echoes our multi-entrepreneurial Group and fully reflects our values of conquering spirit, respect and mutual aid. Indeed, Olivier Goy, an entrepreneur at heart, founded 3 companies since 2000, before being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Charcot’s disease, in 2020. However, the disease in no way prevents him from undertaking and contributing to research. He is now Chairman of the Board of the fintech October, a company he founded, as well as Vice-Chairman of the France Fintech association and ambassador for the Brain Institute, while continuing to speak out on behalf of the Les Invincibles association to further research.

“This is not a boat, it’s the new megaphone for Les Invincibles!” declares William. This 12-metre boat, with 300m² of sail area, will no longer be content with crossing the oceans: it will carry the hopes and voices of thousands of people, with a clear ambition: to advance research and raise awareness of this essential cause.

Association Les Invincibles – All United: fighting for research

Behind this new boat name lies an essential cause supported by the association Les Invincibles. This neurodegenerative disease causes progressive muscle paralysis, and to date there is no cure.

The association’s mission is to :

>Fund medical research and initiatives to combat ALS,

>Raise public awareness of the disease and its consequences,

>Support patients and their families through concrete social initiatives,

>Create synergies with other associations involved in the fight against neurological diseases,

>Organize events and fund-raising campaigns to mobilize as many people as possible.

This fight, strongly supported by Olivier Goy and the members of the association, resonates with our collective commitment and gives a new dimension to our partnership.

A commitment that makes us proud

At Dékuple, we are honored to continue this adventure alongside William and Les Invincibles. Our logo is reduced to the sail, but it’s for the benefit of the association, because there’s no more beautiful place than on a sailboat that crosses the oceans and carries the hopes and voices of thousands of people.

This partnership is not just about sport, it’s also about humanity and solidarity. Through this collaboration, we want to highlight the struggle of thousands of patients and researchers who work every day to find solutions to ALS. Together, we are convinced that every initiative counts, and that every effort brings research one step closer to a major breakthrough.
