1st HALF 2024 RESULTS DÉKUPLE ANNOUNCES GROWING 2024 HALF RESULTS

The DÉKUPLE Group, European experts in cross-channel data marketing, announces its results for the first half of 2024 and confirms its solid financial momentum.
Bertrand Laurioz, Chairman and CEO of the DÉKUPLE Group, comments: ‘The year 2024 has been marked by a complex economic and geopolitical context, with continuing pressure on purchasing power, uncertainties linked to the elections in France, and crises in Ukraine and the Middle East. Despite these challenges, DÉKUPLE has maintained a solid growth trajectory, in line with our ‘Ambition 2025’ plan, which aims to make us the leader in data marketing in Europe.

During the first half, our diversified business model once again proved its resilience, with sales up 8.8% and gross margin up 5.8%. This performance was largely driven by the expansion of our digital marketing activities, which now account for 63% of our consolidated sales, with a remarkable 18.6% increase in gross margin.

Despite significant investment in all our business lines, we have managed to maintain a high level of profitability. Our restated first-half EBITDA came to €12.4m, up 15.4% on a favourable comparative basis, and representing 14.8% of gross margin. This growth reflects the positive momentum of our digital marketing activities in France and Spain, the break-even achieved in our Insurance business, and the stable profitability of our Magazines business.

As data marketing specialists, we are continuing to grow by responding to the needs of brands, whether through consultancy, agencies or solutions, while at the same time supporting our recurring revenue-generating portfolios in press and insurance thanks to our constant commercial investment. Digital marketing’s share of our business will continue to grow with the development of our consultancy services, the expansion of our marketing engineering and engagement activities, and the increasing internationalisation of our offerings and solutions.

In addition, to support our development, we are actively pursuing our external growth strategy. After acquiring Rocket Marketing, a platform specialising in automated netlinking, at the end of the first half of the year, we are exploring new opportunities for growth in France and abroad.

We are also continuing to invest in innovation and training, with a strong commitment to developing our Generative AI offerings. This is now integrated into our technological solutions, performance marketing, consulting via Converteo, and creative solutions with Brainsonic. The AI factories we have set up enable our customers to incorporate Generative AI into their operational processes, whether in terms of data or creativity. Convinced of the transformative potential of Generative AI, we have continued our ambitious training programme for our 1,000 employees, and the first results are already visible.

We plan to strengthen our leadership in Europe while consolidating our presence in North America and Asia. In a slower economic climate in the second half of 2024, the DÉKUPLE Group remains resilient and is pursuing its ‘Ambition 2025’ strategy aimed at becoming a European leader in data marketing. On the strength of its solid financial resources, the Group is maintaining its investments in the Magazines and Insurance businesses to develop its recurring revenue-generating portfolios. At the same time, we are continuing to expand our Digital Marketing offerings through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Discussions are underway to explore growth or acquisition opportunities, in France and internationally, to strengthen the Group’s ability to support its customers’ development.
